OUR PHILOSOPHY

At Christopher Cellars, we have a simple philosophy on winemaking. With our unique background in both the wine and food industries, we are passionate about paying homage to the special vineyards we source from and representing the true varietal characteristics of the grapes. We believe that less is more and showcase that philosophy through minimal intervention, allowing the natural flavors and aromas of the grapes to shine through and create wines that are completely unique and distinct.

Our commitment to quality is reflected in the varietals we choose to work with. We focus on the varietals that thrive throughout the Lodi appellation, enabling us to showcase the unique terroir and character of the sub-AVAs within Lodi. While we love working with long-loved varietals like Chardonnay, Zinfandel, and Barbera, we are also passionate about introducing eclectic and uncommonly produced varietals like Cinsault, Carignan, and Nebbiolo, sharing the stories of these wines, and allowing you to fall in love with them as much as we have.
